who we are

Zaya is an innovation lab and community that builds and launches projects for human and planetary change. We’ve worked with academic researchers, health practitioners, engineers, regenerative businesses, and artists to build mindful and meaningful projects. From festivals to mindfulness-tech apps, we build with passion and purpose.

Projects

  • Sunü was a social impact festival that combined art, science, and mindfulness to induce altered states of consciousness for creative thinking. Curating workshops, seminars, music, and art installations, the festival featured 25 thought leaders and 3 stages in the 1800’s castle, Schloss Schönow (Bradenburg, Berlin). Each experience fostered a reflection and a shared vision for positive projects in art, mindfulness, research, and sustainability.

  • Serenity Pool encourages presence in social settings through a disconnect-to-earn method. Join an in-person community event, scan the QR code, and link your crypto wallet to initiate the timer. Earn $ZYA tokens only when your device is idle, promoting soceal ngagement with your surroundings. The Pool factor fosters collective community benefits, measuring disconnection through time away from your phone.

  • Spirit Compass allows communities to document, collect, and visualize their communities mood (or spirit) over time. Spirit Compass allows communities and individuals to connect with different eco-healing prompts and sustainability practices. Individual moods, based on colour, inform communal ones- essentially creating incentives for communities to correspond to emotional needs and adapt.

  • Beyond Modern Medicine was a virtual interview series with a mission to provide free healthcare education and spread awareness on holistic practices of medicine for your mental health and wellbeing. From Traditional Chinese Medicine to psychedelics, we spoke to to some of the greatest minds in the fields of medicine, psychology and more to explore the mind-body connection and how to heal, beyond modern medicine.

  • Body Wisdom was a 1 day retreat that empowered leaders towards optimizing their mental and physical wellbeing in order to lead from a better place. They learned about the mind-body-brain connection using the intersection of neuroscience, psychology, physiology, and mindfulness. Workshops & activities were facilitated by top Berlin health & wellness experts on topics such as; re-wiring the brain & neuroplasticity, building emotional intelligence, stress management & resilience, understanding trauma, gut health, art therapy, yoga, meditation and reiki.

  • Our very first project at Zaya was a holistic therapy marketplace. The marketplace was intended for people with chronic disease to find vetted holistic health practitioners & therapists. The marketplace launched in Berlin and the U.K., but was discontinued in 2021.

Releasing Emotional Blockages & Trauma Through Neurodynamic Breathwork

WITH MICHAEL STONE

In this event, Founder of Neurodynamic Breathwork, Michael Stone discusses how breathwork can support us in releasing the tension and pent-up energy that is deeply rooted within the subconsciousness. Through the practice of breathwork, we can begin to disengage with our ego in order to connect to our true inner wisdom and let go of our past. Breathwork creates both a physiological and psychological impact on the brain where we go beyond the body's physical state and mind and push past what we call the Self or the Ego.

Healing Trauma in the Body

WITH ARIANE FUCHTNER

When we experience a traumatic event we get taken out of the present and are brought back to past memories and past sensations. In a sense, we can continue to organise our life as if the trauma was still happening. Our bodies go into survival mode and we are trapped in stress responses, which are fight, flight, and freeze. In this episode, somatic therapist, Ariane, discusses how body-based modalities (based on the latest findings of neurobiology) go deep to the core and can have a life-changing effect on those that use them as a form of healing trauma.

Healing with Cannabis & Ketamine assisted Therapy
